Making a holiday gite as wonderful as Fontalbe is a process of evolution. To keep our standards high we listen to you. Your feedback is the most valuable source of information to help us to continue to keep improving the service and facilities we provide. You tell us what you liked, what you would like us to change and, if we can,  we do it.

We’ve had reviews asking for air conditioning in the bedrooms – we now have eco friendly mobile air cooling systems in every bedroom. Box ticked.

You asked for some throws to snuggle up with in front of the fire in the spring and autumn. You’ll now find a basket of throws in the lounge to snuggle up with. Box Ticked.

You mentioned that there was no tumble dryer …. well there is now. So yes, another box ticked.

We pick up on your needs while you stay with us, be it a casual comment or a request you make. We pick up on your ideas when we make contact with you after your stay, inviting you to give us your feedback. And we love to read your reviews in our guest book and on Google reviews.

“A three-generation family holiday has been thoroughly enjoyed here at Fontalbe. Sitting under the wisteria Trees was a favourite spot for breakfast, reading, watercolour painting etc. the pool has been fantastic for six grandchildren who have had hours of fun and laughter, the sun loungers have been well used too. So much wildlife – demoiselles, butterflies, dragonflies, lizards, a toad plus fish and crayfish in the stream.”

So Much to Do

“We had a fantastic time at Fontalbe. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.”

“Fontalbe is a stunning peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too – great walks, petanque, table tennis, and of course, the heated swimming pool. A highlight was the Sunday morning market at Issigeac. plus, and unforgettable meal at Table de Leo – definitely a must-visit. Made some truly great memories here. Highly recommend!
